What is a climbing routesetter?
The routesetter is the ultimate playmaker of a climbing gym—they constantly refresh the routes and boulders to keep the playground exciting!
Why a Routesetting Academy?
We have always made it a point of honor to keep climbing quality at the center of everything, right from the easiest levels. Naturally, the role of routesetters became fundamental. We developed and refined our own vision of what a great boulder problem should be, and selecting future male and female routesetters became increasingly complex...
After helping to professionalize the routesetting profession, and after being the first to consider a routesetter as a high-level athlete, we decided to create a school for aspiring routesetters, open to all (via application).
What's the deal?
Train for a job with a future and live your passion through a 6-month paid work-study contract. At the end of this program, we hire 8 routesetters on permanent contracts (CDI). We run one or two training sessions a year, don’t miss out!
